Hello and welcome to Showcase Sunday. SS is a weekly blog hop hosted by Vicky over at Books, Biscuits and Tea where we showcase what books and bookish things we have received in the past week. This past week has been pretty good for books! I have been on a ban for the past few months though so I though I deserved a splurge! 🙂 This is what I got this week!
The Assassin’s Blade by Sarah J Maas
The first three books were planned. I have seen Half Bad everywhere so when I saw it for £4 I could not resist. Thirteen was unplanned, but the cover art is stunning so this I had to peep at the synopsis. It is a dystopia and it looks fab!

Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen (Penguin Drop Caps Edition)

I’ve heard so many great things about Fangirl! I got it a few weeks ago so I’ll need to pick it up once I manage to catch up on my review books (God knows when that’ll happen, though) 😀

I have all those Sarah J Maas novellas already but I am tempted by the paperback bind-up. That’s a lovely copy of P&P!

The Assassins Blade was only £3.50 in Asda. I would recommend getting it, even for the cover art! 🙂

I really enjoyed Half Bad. And of course The Assassin’s Blade is a must. It is gorgeous.

I haven’t read Sarah Maas yet and I’m picking up mixed reviews about her series but the first book is still on my TBR list. Now, Fangirl I’ve read and it. was. amazing! Happy reading! And thanks for dropping by my Sunday Post 🙂

I have not read it yet. I have heard that it is hard to get in to but it is okay after the first 50 pages. I am picking up Fangirl soon as it is on my TBR for this month.

Yay for pretty books!! I’m hoping to finally get The Assassin’s Blade this week, it’s been out for a few weeks but I haven’t had the chance to yet. Fangirl and Half Bad I want to read at some point, and I’ve heard good things about the first one. That Pride and Prejudice looks so cool, definitely worth getting it I think.

Half Bad! OMG, it’s so good! Although I think the finale was a bit… weak when compared to the book as a whole. Great haul!

Fangirl!!! Anything by Rainbow Rowell is a hit for me! Fangirl was such a cute, coming of age story, I hope you enjoy Cath’s story as much as I did! And oh my, that cover for Pride and Prejudice is beyond stunning. Penguin did a great job! Enjoy your reads =)

I have read Attachments and Eleanor and Park and they were both amazing!
Hopefully I will like this one just as much.
