Bout of Books 10: The Wrap-up #boutofbooks

Bout of BooksThe Bout of Books 10 has come to an end. To be honest I could have done a lot better but I did read more than I normally read, which I suppose is the name of the game.

I completed 2 books and I also managed to get 20 pages of one book and 10 of another.

The two books I completed were Second Chance Summer by Morgan Matson and My Life Next Door by Huntley Fitzpatrick. The book I got 20 pages in to was Boy, Snow, Bird by Helen Oyeyemi and the book in got 10 pages in to was How to Love by Katie Contungo.

All in all, it is around 900 pages. Which I am pretty proud of.

I am gonna try and carry on the read-a-thon and get the TBR pile down. I look forward to seeing all of your goals and how you did with them!

Happy Reading!

YAY! Congratulations on your achievements!! πŸ˜€ That’s great that you read 900 pages! I actually wanted to join but I had exams around that time and I had no idea it was taking place until afterwards .-.

I hope you had lots of fun too! πŸ™‚

Honestly, sometimes I don’t even read more than I normally do for Bout of Books… all the extra time I give to the event is the chats and challenges and other fun stuff. (Not that reading isn’t fun too, but reading is something I can do on my own. It’s connecting with other people that really makes Bout of Books what it is.)

I think that is a better idea. I really enjoy read-a-thons, but sometimes for me it can become more about numbers than content. That is why I love the chats so much!

      Thanks for stopping by! xxx
