Showcase Sunday #13: My Postman Finally Brought The Goodies!

Showcase sundayHello and welcome to Showcase Sunday. SS is a weekly blog hop hosted by Vicky over at Books, Biscuits and Tea where we showcase what books and bookish things we have received in the past week.

As I said a couple of weeks ago, delivery times for all of my books were off the scale and silly. They have finally all arrived just in time (they had one day left!) so I can’t complain.

Here is what I got this week. Since it is back to school soon there are also a few boring ones in there! As always, clicky the links for goodreads!

For Review:

Hodder has just joined Bookbridgr and I may have gone over board. Oops!

Cursed by Jennifer L. Armentrout
Panic by Lauren Oliver
Roomies by Sarah Zarr and Tara Altebrando
Half- Blood by Jennifer L. Armentrout
Unthink by Chris Paley

Back to school!

I am doing a psychology course. Can you tell?

Bought:

Marvel’s Pride and Prejudice
Fables: Legends in Exile
Marbles: A Graphic Memoir

These are all of the books I got this week. I am so happy with the review books! They all look amazing. Also, did you know graphic novels are an expensive habit? They look so pretty, though! 🙂

Let me know if you have read any of these in the comments below! Also, leave a link to your haul so I can check it out! 🙂

Ahhhh, Psychology. I only took General Psychology for Summer in my sophomore year in Uni, and it was such a lot of fun. Made me wonder maybe if I should shift to that instead. In the end, I stayed with my European thingy gig. But at least I get to speak French now 😛

I LOVE the new blog design! (Or new to me, I probably haven’t been here since before I went on vacation a few weeks ago)

Those Hodder books are on my wish list! I hope to read them at some point! I haven’t heard of BookBridgr, I’m guessing it’s some European book blogger reviewer program?

Unthink – the title has my intrigued, going to have to check that out on Goodreads!

I am sooo fascinated with psychology, I was planning to take several courses just for fun in college :X I’d probably be an uber nerd and break those in even before class started bahah

Great week this week! Hope you enjoy them all 😀 And again, totally love the new design!

It is relatively new! I have been trying new things out so you may find another change when you come back! :’)

I have read Half-Blood & Cursed and they were both fab! 🙂

I love psychology too! I am taking it at university this fall! 🙂 I don’t want to put you off with Unthink, but it seems like a more like a propaganda book than one with actual psyc facts which is what I was looking for!

Thank you lovely! Have a good week and thanks for stopping by! 😀 xxxx

So many goodies!!! I’m not really a big fan of the Lux series. I’ve read the first one and bought the second one but haven’t had the motivation to read it. But I did enjoy her writing style so I may check her other series as well. Great haul! And happy reading! Thanks for stopping by my Sunday Post 🙂

Hmm, well I did read Panic and didn’t like it….well it wasn’t what I expected and it’s not dystopian so bouuu 😦 But I guess you’re not surprised since the reviews on GR are mostly negative ones? 😛 But do enjoy, just know it’s not a dystopian. Oh, Roomies looks really nice. ^^

Ooooh, you are starting the JLA Covenant series?? I do hope you’ll love it! Alex (yup, you’re namesakes!) is such a great character and I love me some Aiden!! Cannot wait to hear what you think of it!

Sorry for being such a crappy bloggy friend as of late girl, but I’ve just been overwhelmed with everything! I hope to visit a bit more next week and catch up with the posts I’ve missed!

    Happy reading!

Roomies was great. I hope you like it as much as I did. Panic was okay, not nearly as good as I hoped or expected it to be. That’s just me though.

All your books look good, even the ones for school! I read Half-Blood and liked it, but I DNF’d Panic because I couldn’t get into it. I hope you enjoy them all 🙂

I loved Half-Blood by Jennifer L Armentrout. She’s one of my favorite authors. I love pretty much everything by her. I have not read Cursed though. Own it myself but haven’t gotten to it.
I really want to read Panic. Heard good things and besides the last book I really liked Oliver’s Delirium series.

Well great books, happy reading, and enjoy 🙂
