Hello and welcome to Showcase Sunday. SS is a weekly blog hop hosted by Vicky over at Books, Biscuits and Tea where we showcase what books and bookish things we have received in the past week.
Evening everyone! Well for me anyway! I didn’t get many books this week. I did however buy a few books that I did not really need, hence the “Mum it was an accident” when I tried to sneak them upstairs! A phrase that is becoming the story of my life at the moment! So, here are all the books I got this week!
A load of old classics that I picked up.. they are all so pretty! I am usually not into classics but I have been getting in to them a lot lately!
For Review:
Crossing the Line by Kerry Wilkinson
The Heart Does Not Grow Back by Fred Venturini
Bought:
How to Build a Girl by Caitlin Moran
I was so happy when I got The Heart Does Not Grow Back! It was on my Most Anticipated Fall Releases list and I just love the sound of it.
Caitlin Moran is a lady I have heard nothing but good things about. Also, I love the whole concept of reinventing yourself so when I heard a peep about How to Build a Girl, I had to have it. Also I have this thing where if I walk in to four separate stores and a book I have been wanting for a while is in all four places for a good price, I have to have it. Fate at work if you will!
Will be looking out for your review on How To Build a Girl! Sounds great! Enjoy!

LOL.. I’m sure we all have those moments of oops, I did it again… or mum, it was an accident. Totally understandable and I can totally relate with that. Enjoy your books and thanks for stopping by my Sunday Post, Alex! 🙂

I love classics! Pride & Prejudice was wonderful! Though I haven’t read her other books because I want to own them in hardcopy and I don’t so… will buy them sometime. How to Build a Girl? Lol! Enjoy! 🙂

I think I’m in the minority with Caitlin Moran. I find her pretty annoying online even if she does make valid points, so I don’t really want to read her books.

I know it goes one way or the other with her. I have heard good things about this one so I thought I should take a peep at it since it was on the cheap!
