A University TBR #uniprep

My small and slowly growing non fiction shelves! :) #nonfiction #psychology

As some of you may know, I am going back to school this September in 3 weeks time. They sent me a list out a couple of weeks of required reading, and as usual with me it is the first thing I thought of was the fact that it was a good excuse to buy books.

I plan to try and read a few of these! Main ones I need to get to are Issues and Debates, Studying Psychology, An Anthropologist on Mars and Affluenza!

Do you guys have anything to read for school? Let me know and we can encourage each other! Also, let me know if you like the look of or have read any of these! Some of them are older than me…

Good luck with school, Alex! SChool books are a hit and miss for me. Like I enjoyed my psychology text book, ahted my European Law text book, and was so so-so with my book of philosophers (gah they sure did mindfuck my brain with that one). Hopefully you enjoy reading all of these! Subjects become a chore when the book you need for it is a chore to go through 😦

Oh boy, you have so many to read!! I have to read an autobiography of some author in French (approx 50 pages–not bad), Catcher in the Rye in English and 12 short stories in English. Really fine when I think about it! Ouch, not as much as you do. Hang in there. πŸ˜‰ LOL

The Bell Jar was on my TBR a long time ago, but I never got around to reading it and it doesn’t really interest me anymore. I’m glad to be done with school. I liked it, but I wouldn’t want to go back.

Oh my god, do NOT get me started on how many books I have to read for uni!! I got a massive box of 18 French books from Amazon yesterday and I do not know when I’m going to read them all… And that’s in addition to the 15 or so that I already had D: and my normal tbr pile is out of control so *panic*

Looks like you’ve got some heavy reading to do so good luck with all those books Alex!!

18 books? No no no no no no!

That is so much! :’) The huge text books were given as “required reading”. How do you read a bloody text book :’)

Good luck with this year and all of your books lovely! :’)

Alex, I think my brain just died looking at those books! I did college….um…well…a while back, but I studied accounting so I didn’t have much “reading” homework with that. I think I am fine knowing I don’t have to go back to school and read books that hold no interest for me just for a class. I do, however, wish you the best with your school reading and other reading because if this is what interests you, then I think it’s great!

I have to admit, my high school kiddo is taking accounting and when he brought home his book I kinda flailed a little and had to take a look through it. I know, what a nerd right? That’s just something that always came easy for me and I like to do it because it’s neat and organized!

Good luck with school Alex! <33
