Showcase Sunday #14: Mum, It Was An Accident.

Evening everyone! Well for me anyway! I didn’t get many books this week. I did however buy a few books that I did not really need, hence the “Mum it was an accident” when I tried to sneak them upstairs!  A phrase that is becoming the story of my life at the moment! So, here are all the books I got this week!

A load of old classics that I picked up.. they are all so pretty! I am usually not into classics but I have been getting in to them a lot lately!

How to Build a Girl by Caitlin Moran

I was so happy when I got The Heart Does Not Grow Back! It was on my Most Anticipated Fall Releases list and I just love the sound of it.

Caitlin Moran is a lady I have heard nothing but good things about. Also, I love the whole concept of reinventing yourself so when I heard a peep about How to Build a Girl, I had to have it. Also I have this thing where if I walk in to four separate stores and a book I have been wanting for a while is in all four places for a good price, I have to have it. Fate at work if you will!

Showcase Sunday #13: My Postman Finally Brought The Goodies!

As I said a couple of weeks ago, delivery times for all of my books were off the scale and silly. They have finally all arrived just in time (they had one day left!) so I can’t complain.

These are all of the books I got this week. I am so happy with the review books! They all look amazing. Also, did you know graphic novels are an expensive habit? They look so pretty, though! 🙂

Showcase Sunday #12: I Think My Postman Is On Hiatus

Hello and welcome to Showcase Sunday. SS is a weekly blog hop hosted by Vicky over at Books, Biscuits and Tea where we showcase what books and bookish things we have received in the past week.

I have been putting a showcase of for over a week now because I am expecting around 8 books in the post which I ordered mid-july. I have been given some ludicrous postage times and dates which span up until the 18th of August meaning that all of the packages will most likely arrive on the 18th of August. So a present to you my semi haul.

Saga is a book that I have been seeing around for a very long time. Graphic novels are usually not my jam but I would really like to start to get in to them. I bought Doctor Sleep (The Shining #2) ages ago and  I did not realize that it was a sequel so I found The Shining on sale. Conquest was a book a picked up on Bookbridgr. I am currently reading it and it looks so good!

So this has been my week in books! I will hopefully have a bigger haul soon but I am still happy with all of my buys this week! 🙂 Let me know what you got in the comments below and get linky with your hauls!
